Suppose you find a wallet on the sidewalk.
Someone dropped it or it fell out of their purse.
No one is there to claim it.
There is no ID inside.
Is it yours?
Suppose you find a puppy.
It doesn’t have a collar or tag.
There is no one around.
It comes to you right away.
Is it now yours?
My point is this:
Just because you are opportunistically able to aquire something that belongs to someone else, that does not make it yours.
Excellent thought 🧡
