๐ŸŒธ1 Peter 3:15-17๐ŸŒบ

15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

As always God is perfectly on time! I have recently had a situation of being falsely accused of not being a Christian. At first I was taken aback a bit as this person doesn’t know me, but that is how these accusations always appear in my life anyways . . I knew that what was being said about my relationship with Christ was untrue. I chose not to retaliate but did do a couple things to protect myself and my family as the tirade was aggressive. . . Then I went on with my life . . as is my norm in situations like this I sat back a few days (maybe a week?) and posted more mundane things on my blog . . our regular quiet family stuff .. this pause was a recent lull you saw in my posting . . I needed extra time in prayer and to really hear God’s voice on how to proceed. I did extra Bible studies and looked at it all from several perspectives. . .

and now?

I am staying on the same Biblically founded path I was on . . quietly, patiently, prayerfully waiting for God to move in a mighty way and restore my marriage. And praying more for those who oppose His Will in this. ๐Ÿ™
