God Sees

Romans 9:1-14
1I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost,
2That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart.
3For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
4Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;
5Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.
6Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
8That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these arenot the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
9For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.
10And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;
11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.
13As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.

Hey there! How are you? Hoping you’re blessed and all is well!!
I wanted to share a Bible study I did yesterday. I like to watch Evangelist Gabriel Fernandez and found the video in this link reaffirmed my knowledge that He uses those of us who are imperfect.
Imagine if God hadn’t used David . . if had not become king . . because he was imperfect!!
What if God had said, “How am I supposed to use you??! Look at your past!”??
I am so grateful God looks at our hearts and not a show we put on to impress others with how holy we are. I know that, if I had to put on a whole huge exuberant show I would fail. That’s not me. I seek quietly. . praise Him and pray as I work and usually only God notices. . fortunately He sees my heart and the simple quiet things I do for others that I do not broadcast publicly.

Matthew 6:4-6

4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

  1. I too, am not one to advertise what I do. I have seen some who announce all their good deeds, and I wonder if they are familiar with Matt:6?

    1. I have a feeling they are not . . some seem to announce it all to prove they are saved or living a holy life . . God sees all so I am quiet
