Romans 14:1-3

1Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
2For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
3Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Judging those around us . . it happens everywhere . . literally . . people are judged on how they worship. . style of clothing. . quality of clothing. . so many perceptions that are 100% not based on who that person is . . did Jesus say to judge the poor as lowly? The humble and quiet as backwards?

Or, did He look in their hearts? If we took the time to get to know one another . . really sit down and not just talk but actually listen to the other person. . to their life story. . to their triumphs through Christ as well as their struggles . . to hear what their calling is . . that tug He gives at their heart daily . . how would we judge them then?

What if we paused judging for a week . .

For one week openly listen and offer love, encouragement and acceptance . .

Speak softly and sweetly . .

Offer real hugs and not ridicule. .

Be approachable. .

What would our world look like at the end of that week??!
