His Calling on My Life

Ephesians 5:1-11
1¶Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

2And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

3¶But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

4Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

5For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

8¶For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

9(For the fruit of the Spirit isin all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

🙏Hey there . . ever wonder about specifically how God wants to use you? While I know I am called to eventually be a Pastor’s wife, that is a very vague calling . . as a Pastor’s wife where will He need me to concentrate my time and talents?

A while back (1 1/2 yrs ago) I came across the book “The Assignment: the Dream and the Destiny”. This book is quite basic yet so in depth. It biblically takes you step by step through the process of finding what God has designed you specifically to do. . .the problem He has put you here to solve!

And I was thinking a lot about how quiet I am when I talk to people about God and all He’s done for me . . and that I am so much better at teaching than talking to random people. Although I must say I am good at talking to those He leads me to .. but my style is to speak softly what He leads me to share with them . . glad He lead me to this chapter this morning reminding me He gave us each different gifts~~ otherwise we’d all be doing the same job and many needs simply wouldn’t be met.

For me this is abused and neglected children. Now, I’m only on chapter 7 of this book so I have a lot more growth ahead. I can truly say, though, that this book causes extreme joyous growth in Him!!! 🙌
