What happens when that ‘friendly’ neighbor steals your chickens and rabbits? Or a disease/bad weather ravage your livestock and crops? 🌾🌱

As we all prepare for the next lockdown and wave of pandemic 😷, we know resources at the stores will become scarcer and scarcer.πŸ›’ This is a good time to begin the adventure with your family of learning to live like the pioneers did.🐎 What did local Indians eat? 🏹 How was food processed to last all winter when your ancestors were alive?

Maybe build a smokehouse and put it to use as a family… Gather supplies and learn canning.. start with home canned jam from locally harvested berries while your family hikes!!

All of this new prepping can be combined into history and cooking lessons for your entire family!!
