What if We all Cared?

How are you doing with head coverings? I have to admit I’ve gone through quite a struggle. Maybe all rebellion and using other’s backlash as a crutch to be disobedient.. yeah, the reality of my behavior hurts..

So I’m moving ahead.. finally I’m at a point where other’s opinions really don’t matter.. wondering if the tipping point of this world brought on (gov, covidity, maturing spiritually…?) …has been the catalyst…

I bought this covering at Kroger’s a couple years ago. You may have seen it in other pics I’ve posted. It does slide off randomly but is a quick easy covering.

1 Corinthians 11:1- 6

11 ¹ Follow my example, just like I follow Christ’s.

² I praise you because you remember all my instructions, and you hold on to the traditions exactly as I handed them on to you. ³ Now I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God. ⁴ Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered shames his head.

⁵ Every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered disgraces her head. It is the same thing as having her head shaved. ⁶ If a woman doesn’t cover her head, then she should have her hair cut off. If it is disgraceful for a woman to have short hair or to be shaved, then she should keep her head covered.

Are you always praying? Do you find yourself praying off/on all day? Singing prayer in your heavenly language as you clean the house or work?

Although this passage seems to point only to prayer during church service, really, we are to pray without ceasing. Now, I don’t pray 24/7. I have gaps of prayer then not then a bit more prayer then a conversation with someone (although there are those conversations where I have to pray while we talk 🙏🤨🙏)..

So what happens if you only cover for church services?

And do you want to have to keeping putting your covering back on every time you catch yourself in prayer?

Not me..

So much easier to keep several cute coverings around and wear them all day every day..
