Need to go Home

As she crouched in the corner she listened to the others talk of home. She thought of the hospital and sitting out on the roof in her jammies. That was the home she missed. The others talked of parents and rules and their favorite toys. She missed the soft voices of her favorite nurses and the quiet out on the roof. She slid deeper into the shadows longing for the best ‘home’ she’d ever known..
