    1. Yes!! Our apartment is toasty, but if the heat stops for some reason I want to be sealed up pretty tight

  3. As I sit before my window, allowing the chill air in, your warm candle light inspires me. Thanks for sharing your writing. And yes, as temps drop, I think staying viable will mean getting a sweater on!!!

    1. There is a large gap in the back door that, so far, I treasure. The fresh air is nice. So far . .

        1. So so true!!
Right now I am missing the little wood stove I had at my house. . . it was comforting to know I’d always be able to have unlimited heat.
Making plans to get a good set up with a friendly wood stove again very soon!! 🔥

          1. That is wonderful. Wood stoves are an amazing encompassing heat source quite different from the furnace and radiator. However those silly wood stoves take foresight, else one warms up, splitting wood.

    1. Yes, it can go to being at least 50°F during the day until summer hits . . unless I can go skiing I see no point to snow and cold!! 🎿

      1. LOL. we are in Texas and not accustomed to cold (even cool in my case). It has been below 20 degrees the last few days and I’m tired of it. My cousin lives in Chicago so I must sound like a whiney baby to him being it was -3 degrees at his house the other day. I prefer 70s. 🙂 Stay warm
